Shawarma

The Suno alternative for instrumentals you can edit

Suno and Udio are good at one thing: a finished song with vocals, from one sentence. If you do not like a part, you roll again.

Shawarma does something else. It makes instrumentals only, no vocals, and the song stays open. Ask for a deeper bass, slower drums or a new part, and hear each change while the song plays. Keep what you like.

One song, changed twice

  2. You asked“make the bass deeper”

    A deeper bass

the same song, bass an octave down

    Make it yours
  3. You asked“slower drums, and add strings”

    Slower, with strings

80 BPM, strings under the chords

Then ask for changes

Once your song plays, type what it needs. It changes while it plays, and you keep only what you like.

  • Youmake the bass deeper
  • Youslower drums
  • Youadd strings under the chords
  • Youtake the melody out for the first eight bars
  • Youmake it two minutes long

When Shawarma is the better choice

  • You need an instrumental

Background music, a beat, a loop for a game or a video. No vocals to remove.

  • You want to fix one thing

The drums are too busy, the bass is too thin. Ask for that one change, not a new song.

  • You want to learn

Every song is code you can open. See how the beat is made and change a number yourself.

Questions

Can Shawarma make songs with vocals?
No. Shawarma makes instrumentals only. If you need singing, Suno or Udio is the better tool. If you need music under a video, a game or your own voice, Shawarma is made for that.
How is changing a song different here?
You ask for one change, like a deeper bass, and only that part changes. The song keeps playing, so you hear the change at once. Nothing is kept until you say so.
Can I use the music in my videos?
You own what you make and can use it in your videos and games. Some built-in sounds ask for a credit; the list is on the Terms page.
Is it free?
You can make, edit and share songs for free. The assistant and WAV and MP3 export come with Pro, with 5 assistant replies free to try it.

The sounds that ask for a credit: Sound credits on the Terms page.
