# Music for your D&D table

> Make tavern, forest and dungeon music for your D&D game. Describe the scene, hear it loop, then change it by asking: darker, slower, more rain.

Describe the scene your players are in, and Shawarma makes music for it. It loops for as long as the scene lasts.

Then change it by asking: darker when the dragon wakes, slower for the long walk, more rain on the tavern roof.

Tavern at night

a jig on guitar and flute, rain outside

1. **The door opens** rain, lute
2. **The band plays** rain, drum, lute, tune

## Two more scenes

- Forest path: harp, flute and birds, calm: [Make it yours](https://shawarma.studio/open?example=made-dnd-forest)
- Dungeon crawl: low drones, slow drums, water dripping: [Make it yours](https://shawarma.studio/open?example=made-dnd-dungeon)

## Then ask for *changes*

Once your song plays, type what it needs. It changes while it plays, and you keep only what you like.

- You make the tavern louder and busier, a fight just started
- You add thunder to the forest
- You make the dungeon darker and slower
- You add a war drum for the boss
- You make it last the whole session without repeating too much

## Made for game night

- It loops: Leave it playing for the whole scene. It plays as long as the page is open.
- It changes with the story: Ask for a fight version of the tavern song, or the forest at night.
- No vocals: Instrumentals only, so the music never talks over your players.

## Questions

**Can I play it during my game?**

Yes. Open the song, press play and leave it looping. Share a link so your players can hear it too.

**Can I make music for my own scenes?**

Yes. Describe any scene in your own words: a market in the desert, a ship in a storm, a quiet temple. Then change it by asking.

**Does it have vocals?**

No. Shawarma makes instrumentals only, which is what most tables want under the talking.
